A Welcome from the President of the Carolinas Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development
Dear Colleagues,
Thank you for visiting the CSHSMD website. I would like to take this opportunity to update you briefly on our society.
Because of the strength and dedication of planners across North and South Carolina, the Carolinas Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development has grown stronger and larger than ever. We now have over 100 members-one of the largest state-based organizations in the country for health care planning professionals. Additionally, we have a board of directors that is absolutely committed to bringing you educational and networking opportunities that are second to none.
Our primary responsibility is to bring you two educational offerings per year. CSHSMD's Spring Conference is designed exclusively for strategists. The Spring Conference, formerly the Pre-Rowland conference, is held each May, the day prior to the start of the Rowland-Hite Planning Seminar in Charlotte. Our second educational session of the year is our Fall Conference, a three-day session held jointly with the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society. Typically, this conference alternates between being held in Asheville and Charleston. The fabulous locations and excellent speakers generally create a crowd of well over 200 planning and marketing professionals. On behalf of our board of directors, I invite you to not only join us for these educational offerings, but to consider becoming more involved in CSHSMD. Personally speaking, the friendships and networking systems I have built from society participation are some of the most valuable that I have ever developed.
