There are three categories of membership:
- Active Member - Persons who are actively involved in the field of healthcare strategy and market development and are employed in North Carolina or South Carolina. Active members in good standing may hold office and exercise full voting rights.
- Student Member - Students enrolled in a degree granting program and expressing an interest in healthcare strategy and market development. Student members may not hold office or vote.
- Out of State Member - Persons who are actively involved in the field of healthcare strategy and market development but who are no employed in North Carolina or South Carolina. Out of state members may not hold office or vote.
